We may feel young of heart and young of mind. Our skin? Uh, not looking so young.
Whether it’s due to the year-round sun and our proclivity for outdoor fun such as boating or playing golf in Austin, or simply the loosening of our underlying support structure, our faces sag, wrinkle, and show our age…and then some in many cases.
Fortunately, the team of Drs. Michelle and Albert Carlotti have a remedy — our unique four-dimensional facelift. These procedures take up to a decade off a patient’s facial age.
What is a four-dimensional facelift?
A traditional facelift reduces sagging and signs of aging, but it doesn’t improve the brows, eyelids, nose, or the skin. That’s the goal with our four-dimensional facelift — to perform multiple small procedures together to address far wider rejuvenation. In these surgeries, Drs. Carlotti work together to perform a facelift, neck lift, endoscopic brow lift, and laser skin resurfacing.
We perform our four-dimensional facelift with the patient under general anesthesia. We make incisions for a traditional facelift, but we also add small incisions at the hairline, behind the ears, and under the chin. We reposition the cheek fat pads to elevate the cheeks, and we reposition facial expression muscles.
The result is true facial rejuvenation far beyond what a facelift alone can deliver.
What are the benefits of a four-dimensional facelift?
These procedures with the Drs. Carlotti provide the benefits and rejuvenation of multiple facial procedures all wrapped into a single surgical session. Working as a team, Dr. Michelle Carlotti and Dr. Albert Carlotti handle different areas of the surgery to minimize the duration of the procedure. Because of this, our four-dimensional facelifts take only about 2 hours.
Combining these procedures not only gives you much more widespread rejuvenation but you only have one recovery period, rather than three or four if the procedures such as the brow lift were performed independently.
