What is KYBELLA?

Are there any side effects of KYBELLA?
The most common side effects are mild to moderate swelling and bruising after treatment that can last about a week. You may also experience pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area. You will need to plan 2 weeks in advance of any vacation or event.
How many KYBELLA treatments will I need for fat reduction?
The ideal outcomes are achieved respectively through multiple treatments customized individually. Each treatment should be between 1 month and 6 weeks apart with long-lasting noticeable results at 3 weeks and final results after 12 weeks. The number of injection sites per treatment varies by the volume of fat in each area and the number of treatments is customized for each patient.

KYBELLA is an injectable medication that breaks down fat and is then shed by the body’s lymphatic system. Coolsculpting is a device applied to the trouble area that freezes and kills fat cells that are then shed by the body’s lymphatic system.
Are KYBELLA Injections Painful?
There can be mild discomfort during a KYBELLA injection treatment which can be lessened by icing the area before and after treatment.
Are there any other risks to KYBELLA injections?
There is a minor risk of irritation in the jaw, which will resolve but can result in an uneven smile or facial muscle weakness. Other reported complications that we have never seen or experienced but are reported in literature are trouble swallowing and injection site issues: bruising, hair loss, open sores, damage, and tissue cell death around the injection site.
