About Cellulite and Qwo

Frustratingly, we know what cellulite is, but why it occurs is debatable. Nevertheless, this condition can primarily be blamed on the fibrous septae structure. [2] These narrow, rigid bands of connective tissue contribute to the appearance of cellulite, as they are what anchors our skin in place. They pass through our layer of subcutaneous fat and connect to our muscle. What’s still undetermined is how they shorten to cause the dimpled appearance of cellulite. Unfortunately, this is a problem that affects women much more than men because of the way the septae is configured in female bodies. Women’s fiber septae run perpendicular to the skin; men’s go diagonally.

Up until now, cellulite often meant an involved battle using invasive procedures. Patients would resort to expensive, yet ineffective means. However, thanks to Qwo, treating cellulite is easier than ever. A Qwo treatment eliminates the need for any incisions or a lengthy recuperation process. And, it eliminates cellulite! This injection’s active ingredient is collagenase clostridium histolyticum (CCH). This specially cultured blend of enzymes breaks down the fibrous septae, to release the cellulite dimple. It also causes an increase collagen production and allows underlying fat to redistribute itself, smoothing the skin.[3]
